This is my first attempt at building a simple skin for Launchy. It's designed to be relatively minimal, with a manual keystroke needed to drop down the suggestion list.

To do this, simply set the "Auto open delay" field to "20000 ms" under the "Suggestion List" section in General Options. Hitting the "down arrow" key will pop open the suggestion list instead of it auto-opening after a short time.

I would also recommend setting the number of "simultaneous visible suggestions" to "7" and "max number of suggestions" to "20" on a 20+ inch monitor. Enabling the "Name and path" suggestion visibility is useful too, as the font parameters were designed to be functional for file paths, with a narrow but visible scroll bar for extra content space.
